Zoom Session Overview: MSU's Pre-Professional Physical Therapy Advisement Track & Application Requirements for Professional PT Programs

You are invited to attend the upcoming Zoom Presentation where Morgan’s Pre-Professional Physical Therapy Advisement Track will be the focal topic.   The following students are encouraged to attend the virtual session:

• Curious about pursuing the career of Physical Therapy and wish to learn more about what PT offers.
• Freshmen planning to enroll in the Track in their Sophomore year.
• Sophomores working to become a competitive applicant to either a Clinical Doctorate (DPT) or

an Assistant Program (PTA), and who seek information about how best to develop their Resume, while upholding a strong GPA.

• Juniors planning to make application to their chosen DPT program in the final semester of their Junior year –in hopes of receiving a pending early admission, and wish to have confirmed

what the application requirements are and the timetable is.

• Seniors who wish to acquire pertinent additional information for post-baccalaureate planning

if an application has not yet been submitted to either professional program (e.g. DPT or PTA)

Additionally, all participants will benefit from the perspective on choosing Pass/Fail as a grading option from the Director of UMB’s DPT Program --for Core Courses (e.g. Anatomy & Physiology I & II; Biology I & II; Chemistry I & II, Physics I & II; Gen. Psychology, Abnormal Psychology; Math; Statistics; Exercise Physiology; English; Ethics; Nutrition; Other Profession-Related courses)
