About this Event
The symposium falls under a more extensive project, the HEALING BALTIMORE - MSU COVID-19 Project, whose purpose is to educate the public about COVID-19 so that they can make their own informed decisions regarding protective practices and vaccination to keep Baltimore healthy and open for business.
The genesis of this symposium was a set of final project papers from Dr. Kesha Baptiste Roberts’ Fall 2021 MCH Epidemiology class devoted to COVID-19 and the family. Women, children, and families have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
This symposium is ideal for community stakeholders, public health practitioners, policymakers, health care providers, researchers, and students who want to further their science and practice to identify opportunities amid adversity to improve the health of women, children, and their families on the pathway to healing Baltimore.
