The Verizon Innovative Learning Young Men of Color Program provides boys from under-resourced middle schools a supportive STEM-enrichment educational experience. The Young Men of Color Program is aligned with project-based learnings taken from real world challenges, and invites STEM exploration, career exploration, and personal development.

The fully virtual program will consist of a three-week summer learning experience with courses in augmented and virtual reality, coding, 3D design, entrepreneurship and design thinking principles as well as monthly sessions throughout the academic year where they will develop a technology solution for a community problem that aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
