United Nations #HeforShe Get Free Bus Tour & Panel

The #HeForShe #GetFree Tour is the United Nations' global solidarity movement for gender equality.  The movement provides a systematic approach and targeted platform where a global audience can engage and become change agents for the achievement of gender equality in our lifetime.

The first tour began in the UK and France which engaged more than 140,000 students.  The United Nations is launching this global initiative in the United States, in partnership with the CEO of Exelon, a Baltimore based corporation, and a Champion in the movement.

On October 11th, at 9:30 a.m., the HeForShe Tour Bus will arrive on the circle at the entrance of the School of Business and Management; tables will be set up with flyers and other information.

Following the "Greeting of the HeForShe Tour Bus, a Keynote Speaker and a panel discussion will be held to include President David Wilson, representatives from Exelon, representatives from the United Nations, Dr. Anika Simpson, an Associate Professor in the College of Liberal Arts and Coordinator of the Women's and Gender Studies Program, and two of our students.  A Question and Answer period will follow the panel discussion.
