As part of Spring into Research Week IV, the School of Graduate Studies is excited to announce that we will be hosting our inaugural Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition on Tuesday, April 15th.
What is 3MT®? Developed by the University of Queensland, the 3MT® celebrates the exciting research conducted by graduate students. The 3MT® is a research communication competition which challenges graduate students to present their research concisely to a non-specialist audience in three minutes, using only a single static slide. The primary objective is to enhance students' academic, presentation, and research communication skills.
The 3MT® competition is a fantastic opportunity to support our graduate students, learn about cutting-edge research, and engage with our academic community. Each presentation will be judged on comprehension, engagement, and communication, making it an event you won't want to miss!
