The INR Bunche Fellowship Program seeks to recruit highly motivated candidates from diverse backgrounds who are interested in serving as an intelligence analyst or officer in a civil service role at the Department of State. This brand-new fellowship opportunity is for students who are in the final year of undergraduate or graduate degree programs, and will provide selected candidates a two-year, full-time position in INR as an Intelligence Assistant.

General Requirements for Applicants:

• Will be graduating/have graduated with a bachelor’s degree (or higher) by August 2024 • Seeking degrees in: International Affairs, Intelligence Studies, Global Security, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or other similar fields of study • Be a U.S. Citizen • Be able to receive a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance. Information for Candidates: • Fellows will serve in a full time, fully paid position for two years • Fellows will serve as Intelligence Officer Assistants • Selected fellows will join INR at the GS-07 or above pay scale, depending on educational degree and experience • Positions in INR require TS/SCI clearance so candidates will go through the clearance process including a background investigation • Positions in INR are located at the Department of State in Washington D.C. • Fellow positions are telework eligible depending on the INR office you are selected for
