WHAT IS IT?
The Discussion Project is a professional learning series for designing and implementing high-quality classroom discussion. The workshop is designed to support instructors teaching classes of up to 40 students.
The Discussion Project is based at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. They are working in partnership with Morgan's Center for Innovative Instruction & Scholarship (CIIS) for this workshop.

WHO CAN TAKE THE COURSE?
Any Morgan State University faculty member, academic staff, and/or graduate students who are the instructor of record or course assistant for a course.
WHERE WILL IT TAKE PLACE?
In-person at Morgan on January 9th & 10th AND virtually via Zoom on January 16th & 23rd
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?
January 9th & 10th, 8:30am-4:30pm, January 16th & 23rd, 11:00am-1:00pm with 1.5 hours (total) of outside preparatory work.
WHAT ARE THE PERKS?
Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for the in-person dates. Great colleagueship. Invaluable (and practical) Instructional Excellence Learning.
PLEASE REGISTER BEFORE December 14th, 2024. Spaces will fill quickly.
Next steps after you register will be:
1) A confirmation and welcome email will be sent
2) Calendar invitations for the course dates will be sent
3) A second welcome email with preparatory materials will be sent closer to January 9th, the first in-person day of the workshop.
