The Spring 2019 open call dance company audition will be Tuesday and Wednesday February 12 and 13, 6 - 9pm, Dance Studio, Hurt Gymnasium. Participants should arrive 10 – 20 minutes early. Minimal training in one or more dance genres--jazz, modern, hip-hop, ballet or African dance--is preferred but not required.   Also looking for musicians (African Drummers).  Audition includes technique, combination work, and improvisation.  Dancers are needed for apprentice, interns, and full company member positions. Interested persons must be able to rehearse a minimum of six to ten hours per week, available for performance on and off campus, travel, and make a commitment for the semester.
