About the Speaker
Attorney Goldsby is a skilled trial attorney, career coach and speaker passionate about diversity and impacting the lives of others. Attorney Goldsby received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College.
Attorney Goldsby has extensive experience in litigation. She has taken and defended over three hundred depositions and completed four jury trials to verdict. Her clients have included insurance companies, healthcare providers, municipalities, product manufacturers, parents, and school districts. She is currently Senior of Counsel at Letizia, Ambrose & Falls, PC practicing Workers’ Compensation and Education Law defense. She is also the Founder of Black Esquire LLC.
Her experience as an attorney in Connecticut exposed her to innumerable instances where she struggled to feel valued, and is now proudly using her voice to speak up for herself and others like her.
As the Founder of Black Esquire®, Attorney Goldsby is known as The VALUE Coach. She helps current and future Black lady leaders and lawyers elevate their lives and careers by using their VALUE. VALUE stands for using your VOICE to ADVOCATE so others can LEARN and UNDERSTAND your EXCELLENCE. Attorney Goldsby believes every woman should know her value and assert it confidently to go from successfully surviving to successfully thriving! She also coaches pre-law and law students on their legal journeys and is on a mission to raise the 5% of Black lawyers in the U.S.
