Purnima Kapur lecture, Public Private Partnerships in City Building, will share her career path towards planning and city building and discuss her experience as the Planning Director for New York City, and currently as the Chief of Planning for Harvard University. She will focus on efforts by Cities to harness the private sector as well as Institutions in addressing the physical as well as sustainability, resiliency and affordability needs as Cities grow and diversify. She will present some successful examples of such partnerships in New York and in Boston.
