The Race & Social Justice Summer Institute 2025 (hosted by the Du Bois-Diggs Center for Race and Social Justice in the College of Liberal Arts) was planned in part by graduate sociology students in the Soci 660 course (Applied Sociology & Social Justice II) Spring 2025, Dept of Sociology & Anthropology, Morgan State University.  It aims to engage a diverse array of individuals in meaningful discussions and workshops on race and social justice issues. Mission

The Du Bois-Diggs Center for Race and Social Justice, in the College of Liberal Arts at Morgan State University, includes social scientists, religious leaders, educators, government officials, community members, students, and other influential/notable figures. The Center will provide a safe space for research and discussion on racial parity, and to create strategies to combat global white supremacy and mount race-related discussions on issues such as crime and justice, economics, education, health, housing, employment, and governmental policy.
