In the spirit of World Stroke Day, we will be hosting a community event to promote the life quality of stroke survivors. The centerpiece of this event will be a session dedicated to post-stroke driving, a topic of utmost importance for stroke survivors as driving plays a vital role in the lives and work of most Americans.

The event is co-hosted by Morgan State University, Morgan CARES, and the Maryland Young Stroke Center. We welcome all community members, especially the ones who are in the recovery process from stroke, the care givers, the health care professionals, the community health workers, and the educators. SWAG and Lunch provided.

Join us to learn:

- How stroke affects driving ability

- Policy and laws about post-stoke driving

- Driving rehabilitation and assessments

- Modified vehicles and supporting equipment
