Thursday May 1st we will have on campus a SPECIAL GUEST who will be offering a masterclass in poetry writing (with some singing and dancing) in TWO language classes (@10 a.m. and 1 p.m.) in HOLMES HALL.
The Lesson will be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and MSU COMMUNITY and will be conducted by Filippo Capobianco, THE NEW WORLD CHAMPION OF POETRY SLAM who will be joining us from Italy (his visit is fully funded by the Italian government with whom we have a solid partnership); This event will promote not only writing but also music (Mr. Capobianco is going to perform songs with his guitar and students will be encouraged to sing their own composition and dancing it) Iso please bring your class if you are available that day and spread the word to your students who will be able to join and write poetry (and singing it) in American-English or ANY Languages we offer at mSU: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Latin, Portuguese, Spanish, Swahili and Yoruba (and Dari and Pashto)!

• 1:00-1:50 P.M. in HOLMES HALL 119 @ Morgan State University
