If you are an early career faculty member, or a faculty member who has not held NSF funding, this workshop is for you!

Drs. Claudia Rankins and Falcon Rankins have enormous experience with NSF grants designated for HBCUs. In this workshop, they will discuss an overview of National Science Foundation (NSF) programs geared towards early career faculty, including the CAREER program, Research Initiation Awards, and others.

The speakers will also discuss the submission of concept outlines and how and when to contact the NSF program director. A brief overview of the NSF merit criteria will be provided. Participants will have ample opportunity to interact with the speakers and ask questions in this workshop.
