Natural Science Careers Workshop

Friday, April 19, 10:30 AM – 5:15 PM ET | Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History (10th St. & Constitution Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20560)

• Are you curious about the variety of careers at museums and research institutions?
• Are you interested in opportunities in natural history?
• Do you want to pursue a career in biodiversity, conservation, or environmental science but want to learn more?
Join us at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History for a free workshop to learn about, and prepare for, careers in natural science. The full-day workshop, including a catered lunch and reception, is designed to help you explore and navigate a pathway to the career you want. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with natural science professionals, learn about internship and fellowship opportunities, and experience what it’s like to work behind-the-scenes at the Smithsonian.

 There is no cost to attendees, but registration is required. A catered lunch and snacks will be provided. We will also offer reimbursement for local subway and bus fare or parking fees for the students. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with natural science professionals, learn about internship and fellowship opportunities, and experience what it’s like to work behind the scenes at the National Museum of Natural History.
