The Morgan State University Police Department has scheduled its 4th annual Morgan Public Safety Day on Wednesday, April 22, at Northwood Commons in Baltimore City. The mission of the event, which will run from 3 pm to 7 pm on the grounds of the shopping center located at 1500 Havenwood Road, is to gather students, police officers, community residents, and other stakeholders to create a positive bond between law enforcement and the local community and initiate constructive dialogue aimed at ensuring a safer environment.

Food and entertainment highlights include a cookout sponsored by the Morgan State University Police Department, additional catering provided by Northwood Commons tenants, performances by the Morgan State University Marching Band, a live DJ, and free carnival games including inflatable basketball, football throw, and soccer kick.

Educational opportunities will be comprised of a financial literacy program provided by Fulton Bank, information from the Baltimore City Health Department, and recruiting tables sponsored by Morgan State University and the Morgan State University Police Department.
