The Morgan State University Symphonic Band conducted
by Melvin N. Miles, Jr., presents its Annual Concert on Sunday, April 22nd at 6:00 PM. Come see and hear the Morgan State University Symphonic Band as it performs an "Evening of Traditional and Contemporary Wind Music”. This concert will feature Michael Daugherty’s “Niagara Falls”, “Danzon no.2” by Arturo Márquez, Cindy McTee’s “Soundings”, and Gary Powell Nash’s “A Fraternal Prelude”. In addition, the Loch Raven United Methodist Church Handbell Choir is performing with the Symphonic Winds on “No Shadow of Turning” by David Gillingham. These and other works selected for this concert will be intriguing, enlightening and when the concert ends you will be humming a tune.
