Join us this Friday, April 18th, at 10 a.m. as we formally introduce Morgan State University's new head women's basketball coach, Nadine Domond. The press conference will feature remarks from Morgan State President Dr. David K. Wilson, Dena Freeman-Patton, Morgan State University Director of Athletics, and MSU's new head coach.

Nadine Domond, an accomplished collegiate coach and former WNBA player, was recently selected as the new head coach of the Morgan State Lady Bears Women’s Basketball program. Domond comes to Morgan from Virginia State University, where she has led the Lady Trojans to back-to-back 20-win seasons and historic success, including their first-ever appearance in the NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament. Her 2024–25 campaign included a 21-5 regular season record, a CIAA Northern Division title, and a CIAA Championship Game berth. Her defensive-minded teams ranked 16th nationally in opponent field goal percentage (35.1%) and allowed only 60 points per game. In recognition of her leadership, she was named CIAA Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year and the HBCU All-Stars Lonnie Bartley NCAA Division II National Coach of the Year.
