Faculty, staff and students are invited to join the Office of the President and the Division of Academic Affairs for a special Middle States Accreditation Self-Study Kick-Off. 

Every 8 years, Morgan State University must go through the reaccreditation process with the  Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). MSCHE, through accreditation, mandates that its member institutions meet rigorous and comprehensive standards, which are addressed in the context of the mission of each institution and within the culture of ethical practices and institutional integrity expected of accredited institutions. In meeting the quality standards of MSCHE accreditation, institutions earn accredited status.

Before engaging in the MSCHE reaccreditation process, Morgan must first establish a committee to undergo its own self-study.
