MSU MATH Club & MATH Department;

Greetings Alumnus and/or Supporter of Mathematics:

Dr. Asamoah Nkwanta, the Chairman of the Department of Mathematics, in conjunction with Mu Alpha Tau (MATH Club) & the entire Mathematics Department family will celebrate three annual events on the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of April 27th through April 29th.

• April 27, 2023 - 11 am: Join us as kick off the 3-day event when our math department hosts the Willie B. Rajanna Lecture given by the esteemed Dr. Talitha Washington. (VIRTUAL)

• April 28, 2023 - 6:30 pm: On Friday evening we will host the 3rd Virtual Walter R. Talbot and Willie B. Rajanna Mathematics Reunion and Fundraiser (VIRTUAL).

• April 29, 2023 - 9:30 am: Lastly, on Saturday we will have a Remembrance Walk to honor those that have passed in the Morgan State Mathematics family and friends community. (In-Person)

Donations:

• Distinguished Membership: $400 or more
• Honorary Membership: $200 - $399
• Esteemed Membership: $100 - $199
• Support Members: Below $100

Mu Alpha Tau memberships are as follows:

• Undergraduate/Graduate students with current school ID - Free
• Basic Membership- $30

Regardless of the amount, all contributions are greatly appreciated to benefit our fundraising efforts. 

Contributions can be received:

1. By Electronic Payment: Go to https://givetomorgan.org/. Click on the “Give Now” button.

Click on the “Donate Now” button and select an amount. Custom amounts are also available through the “Custom Amount” button. When an amount is determined, under the “Apply My Donation To” dropdown list, select “MATH Department (MATH Club) Reunion Fundraiser”.

Click “Continue” and complete the requested information. Retain a copy of the receipt for your records!
 

2. By Mail: Make checks payable to MSU Foundation- Attn: The MATH Club. Mail payments to:
