The Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program will host LGBTQIA+-The New Black: Film Screening and Expose on October 20, 2023, from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in BSSC, Rooms 512-514. “The New Black is an award-winning documentary that tells the story of how the African-American community grapples with the gay rights issue in light of the recent gay marriage movement and the fight over civil rights.”
