Morgan CARES (Community-Aligned REsearch Solutions) is hosting a  free, family-oriented community event that will incorporate health and wellness activities, resources, and family fun! Morgan CARES is the Community Engagement Core of the Center for Urban Health Dispartieis Research and Innovation at Morgan State University. 

Morgan CARES is a hub for community and academic leaders to connect and form long-lasting partnerships. We strive to foster strong community-campus relationships that produce collaborative projects to promote health parity. They work alongside community residents and groups to address health disparities and promote commuity health impact. 

Event Overview

Morgan CARES, HopeWell Cancer Support, and Cross Steet Partners are co-hosting the Health, Hope & Harmony Festival. This free, family-oriented community event will bring together local organizations, residents, and partners for a day focused on health, wellness, and community engagement.

It will be on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Hoen & Co Lithograph Building (2101 E Biddle Street Baltimore MD 21213).

The festival will include activities and attractions such as:

  • Over 30 community resource tables
  • Health screenings and demonstrations
  • Music, games, and food trucks
  • Children’s activities (such painting and jewelry making)
  • Live podcast sessions
  • Tours at Hoen/Cross Street
  • Giveaways and other family-friendly activities for all ages
