About this Event
In this transnational discussion, we shall explore two interrelated topics: border politics and their effect on current heightened borders, and immigration trends. The first of these will be triggered by comparing the similarities and differences between US-MEX and Spain-Morocco borders, and the second by focusing on the legacy and presence of Afro-descendants in Spain and the United States.
Join students and faculty from all over the world for a lively discussion facilitated by:
Gonzalo Baptista, Morgan State University, Baltimore, Maryland, USA
Ana Gimeno Sanz, Universitat Politècnica de València, Valencia, Spain
Sofia Di Sarno García, Universitat Politècnica de València, Valencia, Spain
