DESCRIPTION:MD-CRUSE Conference\n\nThis conference is the culmination of th
 ree years that chosen Fellows and STEM Teacher Leaders have conducted targe
 ted research studies in transdisciplinary and inter-institutional groups\, 
 with the support of a research mentor. The research projects have built col
 laboration and competencies and resulted in each research group engaging in
  dissemination activities\, such as writing articles\, preparing school dis
 trict briefings\, and conference presentations. The five research focal are
 as are Equity\, Partnerships\, Relevant Curriculum\, Student Capital\, and 
 Teacher Capital. Research teams will share project results and findings and
  network with attendees and guests to refine their understanding of Marylan
 d's urban STEM education landscape.\n\nThe conference will feature speakers
 \, presenters\, and panelists who will discuss: defining Urban Education\, 
 Urban STEM Education\, and the current state of Urban STEM education in the
  state of Maryland\, among other things. This statewide Urban STEM Educatio
 n Conference will be open to attendees from Baltimore and Greater Baltimore
  area school districts\, other school districts in Maryland\, higher educat
 ion institutions\, and STEM business and community partners.\n\nRegister to
 day for the Future of Urban STEM Education Conference at Morgan State Unive
 rsity\, July 12 - 14th\, 2023. Open to attendees from Baltimore\, the Great
 er Baltimore Region\, Maryland educational institutions (across K - 20)\, S
