Kate Wright’s Screenwriting is Storytelling creates a cheat method for better story development in the plotting phase: Sequencing. Stories are made up of Act 1, Act 2, Act 3, and essential plot points. If you’ve ever written a story, you know it’s hard to get from one plot point to the next. A solution can be found with Wright’s Sequencing technique. During this workshop, MA Candidate Amanda Chambers, will review what a sequence is and discuss how to best utilize them in storytelling. We will also spend time crafting an outline to a story, including sequences, with prompts for characters and plot points.
