The Fannie Angelos Program assists students at Maryland’s historically black colleges and universities and the University of Baltimore with the law school admission process.
Applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative (undergraduate only) GPA and must commit to sit for the LSAT and apply to law school. The program is designed to help you gain admission to law school and ensure you are well prepared and supported once enrolled.
There are two components:
A law school bootcamp in January.
A Law School Admission Test (LSAT) online preparatory course, which includes Saturday LSAT practice tests during the spring and summer semesters. All scholars must register for and take the August LSAT.
A full tuition scholarship is available to scholars who (1) successfully complete the Program, (2) have a 3.5 cumulative undergraduate GPA, (3) score 153 or above on the LSAT, and (4) are admitted to and attend the University of Baltimore School of Law. For Scholars who have less than a 3.5 cumulative undergraduate GPA and score below 153 on the LSAT, partial scholarship funding may be available.
