Institute Overview

As we welcome you back to campus in person for the 2022 to 2023 academic year, there is much to be excited about and grateful for. This year’s institute is about celebrating and taking pride in who we are as a university community and who we continue to become. We use the word “our” in this year’s title with intention because Morgan State University is ours. Its legacy, history, present, and future are ours to learn from, contribute to, fight for, and offer to those who come after us. Morgan is excellent because we are excellent. This institute’s goal is to remind us of what excellence requires and why we and all whom we serve are worth it.  From the spotlight and student panels to the honoring of faculty among us…from the invitation to faculty to join important policy discussions to the exciting development workshops and a focus on sustaining our wellness, in this institute, we aim to take care of ourselves, our institution, our Morgan because we are the stewards we have been waiting for.
