Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, known as ALS, is a progressive neurodegenarative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. More than 200,000 people around the world are living with ALS. The School of Graduate Studies, in collaboration with the Yale University School of Public Health and the Leith Lab, will present a special virtual workshop that will bring awareness of this disease to the Morgan State University community.
