About this Event
Please join us for a virtual brown bag speaker event. Dr. Niah Grimes will share a research talk entitled Living at the Intersections: A Sacred Ethnography. See abstract below:
This sacred ethnography examines the implications of living at the intersections of dis/ability, race, gender, sexuality, spirituality/religion, and class while persisting through doctoral education in the Southeastern United States. For this research talk, we will discuss self-inquiry methodology using this study as an example, to help scholars begin thinking about how nkwaethnography, autoethnography, and personal narrative inquiry can provide methodological pathways for us to consider and answer critical questions from our individual positionalities and epistemologies.
