The iconic Dance Theatre of Harlem returns to the Murphy Fine Arts Center for the 1st time since 2019--and since the renovation of the beautiful Gilliam Concert Hall!  DTH is always a treasured favorite in the Baltimore area's arts & culture landscape.  

A singular presence in the ballet world, the Dance Theatre of Harlem tours internationally presenting a powerful vision for ballet in the 21st century. The 18-member troupe’s cutting-edge repertoire includes neoclassical works by Balanchine and resident choreographer Robert Garland, alongside contemporary works celebrating African American Culture. Through performances, community engagement, and arts education, the Company carries forward Dance Theatre of Harlem’s message of empowerment through the arts for all.
