Cultivating Joy in Perilous Times: A Q&A about the Research on Black Joy
Dr. Antar A. Tichavakunda, Associate Professor of Race and Higher Education at the University of California, Santa Barbara, will draw from his research on Black students navigating historically white institutions, critical theories, and his own experiences as a scholar to reflect on joy in increasingly polarized and perilous times.
This session will offer space to think seriously about Black joy as a subject of research, practice, and possibility in higher education.
The webinar is free and open to the public.
