All full-time undergraduate students taking 12 or more credit hours and J-1 Visa Exchange Students and Scholars are automatically enrolled and billed each semester for the Student Health Benefit Plan when registered. Part-time, graduate students and students participating in the NEXUS program with the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) are eligible to enroll in this insurance plan by visiting the website during Open Enrollment or with a Qualifying Event. If you have credible insurance, complete the annual online waiver during the first Open Enrollment & Waiver Period every academic year to receive full credit. Please note: waiving the Student Health Benefit Plan will limit the services available to you at the Woolford Health Center!
FALL FULL-TIME STUDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WAIVE DURING THE SPRING SEMESTER WITHOUT A QUALIFYING EVENT(QE). FOR QE DEFINITIONS, PLEASE VISIT THE WEBSITE.
