The Academic Enrichment Program Academic Refreshers are a curriculum-based tutoring initiative to support student's virtual learning. This tutoring style is a group format and will review coursework from its inception for the duration of six weeks. The sessions will be held every Sunday from 3 pm to 9 pm, beginning Sunday, September 27 and conclude on Sunday, November 8, 2020.
The courses are as follows:
Academic Research Writing (Grammar, Punctuation, Citations, Research, Thesis, Outlines, Introduction, Body, and Conclusion).
General Biology (Intro to biology, Continuations on DNA and RNA, Cellular respiration and photosynthesis in eukaryotic cells, Genetics overview, Reviews on the Origin of life and Evolution and Population Biology).
Chemistry (Navigating the periodic table, Tips on:
converting units of measurement and developing dimensional
analysis skills, naming chemical, compounds, writing
and balancing chemical equations and Stoichiometry).
Math 106-141 (Algebra, Geometry, Statistics and Probability, Algebra, Geometry & Pre-Calculus).
Math 241-312 (Calculus I, II, III & Linear Algebra)
Calculus I – Functions Graphic analysis, Integral equations.
Calculus II – Integrations, yielding inverse trigonometric functions, infinite sequences and series.
Calculus III – Triple integrals, vectors and matrices.
Linear Algebra – Matrices, vector spaces, eigenvalues and canonical forms.
