About this Event
View mapThe Morgan Public Safety Day will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Public Safety Building, which is located at the Northwood Commons (1535 Havenwood Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21218). Morgan State University's (MSU) Office of Police and Public Safety developed the Morgan Public Safety Day event to bring together students and police under positive circumstances and to ensure a safer community.
At the Morgan Public Safety Day event, students and police will participate and celebrate the community relationship through interactions and activities. The Morgan Public Safety Day will include a pledge wall for students to sign and pledge to protect the national treasure so that individuals coming to MSU will not deface or disrespect the campus. The pledge wall will contain the phrase “SAC Crime on the campus of Morgan State University and preserve its heritage and proud culture”. The acronym SAC stands for Students Against Crime. Every person who signs the wall will receive a free tee shirt in return for their signature and pledge. The Morgan Public Safety Day event will take place during “I Love Morgan Week” and feature a Dee Jay, games, and other activities.
Participation by students, staff, and faculty with the Morgan Public Safety Day event is greatly important and will enhance the relationship between students and police to include improved safety for the MSU community.
