The purpose of this event is to connect Maryland’s Veterans, Spouses, Dependents, and caregivers with professional Maryland businesses and corporations around the State of Maryland. Veterans Engagement has partnered with Maryland’s Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (DLLR) for a sixth year to host this event to help build our relationship with local and state community organizations and residents, with the hope of decreasing the current veteran unemployment rate in our community as well as build simultaneously building a vessel to increase enrollment by offering educational resources making our veteran population more viable and productive professionals.
Over 65 organizations will host open employment opportunities and offer qualified applicants the opportunity to interview on the spot. Due to the success of the event over the last few years, we have opened the hiring fair to the general public. We did this in support of our governor's initiative to improve and increase employment opportunities in the state of Maryland.
All job seekers in Maryland and other states are welcome to attend. bring plenty of resumes, and come dressed to impress.
