The Matriculation Convocation represents the official welcoming ceremony of the year, where faculty, staff and students greet and welcome new students entering the University for the first time. Faculty members participate in this ceremony dressed in academic regalia representing the highest degrees that they have earned. The keynote speaker is the president of the University.

Attendance is mandatory for all Morgan freshman and sophomores.

Faculty members are encouraged to require all their students to attend and provide themn with assignments associated with this Convocation.

Direct Shuttle Transportation will return to H Lot and Tyler Hall Roadway from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
