  they piece together a portrait of their father\nwho died suddenly in 2002 
 in the midst of his plan to promote a flag celebrating African-Americans. B
 y bridging the past and present through videos and interviews with family m
 embers\, Chloe and Kavlah discover a man whose unexpected death left a hole
  in their family and ruptured a plan to uplift African-American communities
  in Baltimore and beyond. Their discovery proposes new beginnings if they a
 nd their family can find a way to mend the past and take up the flag for to

 aduate of Morgan State University\, and Carl David Harvey\, a graduate of C
 oppin State University\, and later\, Morgan\, married. While at a banquet\,
  the couple noticed that during the singing of the National Black Anthem\, 
 there was no focal point on which to gaze as there is with the National Ant
 hem and the U.S. flag. Soon after the event\, the Harvey African American f
 lag was conceived. The story is chronicled in the play 20/02 by the creator
 's daughters.
