The Carl J. Murphy Fine Arts Center is a multi-use facility located at the southern edge of MSU's campus. It is the home of the 2000+ seat Gilliam Concert Hall, the 300-seat Turpin-Lamb Theater, the 167-seat Recital Hall, and a 150-seat outdoor amphitheater. The James E. Lewis Museum of Art is also located inside of the Murphy Fine Arts Center.
